I’m Roopa (or Roops for short), the face behind the blog. I created this blog to share my journey as a new mom with a full-time corporate job who loves to travel. My goal is to inspire you to embrace life’s adventures, whether that’s exploring the world with your little one, navigating motherhood, or advancing in your career, one experience at a time.
Why did I start this?
Before having my son, Joey, I had the opportunity, through personal and work, to visit 35 countries. When I got pregnant, I’d hear: “What will you do now that you can’t travel often?”, or “It’ll be really difficult to travel with a baby”. While there is a lot more content these days online, many that I found are from content creators who travel full-time or large parenting websites that I couldn’t personally relate to.
So I decided to write about my experiences. I aim to inspire others to travel with their little ones, foster compassion for parents navigating pregnancy and postpartum, and explore balancing motherhood with a career.
What will you find?
Motherhood: Pregnancy + postpartum, c-section experience, products, starting daycare, baby + toddler experiences and products.
Travel: Inspiration, guides, and tips to plan your travel with your family.
Lifestyle: Career, style, and general life.

What is my travel style?
SLOW TRAVEL. Traveling with my son now, I’m all about embracing slow travel. While I used to have a jampacked itinerary before Joey, now I enjoy soaking in each destination, not just breezing through the highlights. Slow travel lets us live like the locals, even if just for a little while, creating those unforgettable, “remember when” kind of memories.
Taking your children with you on your adventures means that the sights and sounds may fade, but the memories will be theirs forever.

From a budget perspective, I’d say my style is “sprinkled luxury”. One day I’m lounging at a 5-star in the Algarve, and the next, I’m cozying up in a charming BnB. Oh and food? Give me a bustling street food stall or a fancy Michelin-star spread; I’m there for all of it. For me, it’s all about striking that sweet spot, mixing a bit of luxe with the authentic, especially when you’re taking the scenic route through life’s adventures.
